Fastracks Living Lab
Transportation is essential to our everyday lives, yet few people consider how much effort it takes to develop an efficient public transportation system. In the FasTracks Living Lab, students will be responsible for analyzing a light rail system that is simulated on their computer and suggesting improvements that will make the system more effective at meeting its design criteria.
Water Living Lab
Water is essential for our lives. But it takes a tremendous amount of ingenuity and creativity to deliver clean water to everyone. The lessons and activities in Engineering Our Water utilize real-time USGS water data to educate students about what it takes to maintain our precious water.
